After studying business administration at CSU Sacramento, Jerry got involved in the retail automotive aftermarket, filling a number of staff, management and new store development roles. Along the way, a co-worker recommended that he explore the burgeoning professional dental supply market, and he did. After a few years, Jerry was convinced that this was the industry he wanted to pursue. Fast forward to 2008, when he enthusiastically joined iSmile Dental Products as their first account manager. He now holds two iSmile titles: Sr. Account Manager and Call Center Supervisor.    

Jerry consistently immerses himself in all iSmile business processes, engaging with doctors and administrators, learning the products and how they’re used, training and mentoring call center staff, and collaborating with iSmile’s marketing department. He even works in the warehouse when the need arises, and makes local deliveries to customers in urgent need of product.

Acknowledging that there are hundreds of dental suppliers with similar products and services as iSmile, Jerry’s particularly proud of iSmile’s success - and his own. He’s earned the distinction of ‘Salesman of the Year’ for eight out of the last ten years, including 2018, and quickly credits CEO Bryan Shields for his leadership, support and encouragement.

Outside of iSmile, Jerry and wife Ronda enjoy spending time with family and friends, and being in the Great Outdoors with their Queensland Heeler, Raven. Being part traditional and extreme athlete, and never one to sit for very long, Jerry has become a competitive distance runner with a 26.2 mile marathon personal best of three hours and three second.
